By 2054, Haiti will become an industrialized nation with a diversified economy, food sovereignty, and control over its natural resources. Phase I (2024-2054) lays the groundwork for sustainable economic growth and job creation.

Key Objectives

1. Nationalization of Resources

Our natural resources belong to the Haitian people and will be leveraged for national development.

Strategic Actions:

  • Complete national mineral, hydrocarbon, and agricultural land inventory by 2026
  • Establish legal framework for resource nationalization by 2027
  • Create a transparent sovereign wealth fund by 2028
  • Develop national mining and extraction capabilities by 2030
  • Achieve 30% of national income from nationalized resources by 2040

2. Industrialization

Strategically building industrial capacity to reduce imports, create jobs, and develop export capabilities.

  • Create 10 specialized industrial zones across Haiti by 2035
  • Focus on agro-industry, renewable energy, textiles, and information technology
  • Establish industrial training centers in each zone
  • Develop supply chain infrastructure for raw materials and finished products
  • Create 500,000 industrial jobs by 2035

Modernization of Agriculture

Transforming our agricultural sector to achieve food sovereignty and become a regional exporter.

  • Implement sustainable farming practices across 50% of arable land by 2035
  • Develop modern irrigation systems covering 60% of agricultural areas by 2030
  • Build 15 agro-processing plants by 2035
  • Reduce food imports by 40% by 2030
  • Achieve 80% food self-sufficiency by 2035

4. Tourism Development

  • Develop 10 eco-friendly tourist villages by 2035
  • Create hospitality training programs in major cities
  • Establish protected cultural and natural heritage areas
  • Attract 2 million tourists annually by 2035
